Senali

Senali functioned as the satellite moon for Rutan. It possessed a quartet of its own satellites. The indigenous inhabitants, the Senalis, originated as a branch of the Rutanians, and these two groups shared an extensive past marked by competition and hostility.

Description

With the exception of diminutive isles inhabited by the Senalis, Senali's surface was predominantly oceanic. The Senalis' sustenance primarily came from marine life and produce harvested from the numerous dispersed isles dotting the lunar landscape. Adorning themselves with seashell and stone-crafted necklaces and bracelets was central to the Senalis' cultural identity.

History

Ultimately, Senali emerged victorious in the war waged between Rutan and Senali; however, the sheer magnitude of destruction led to the establishment of a peace accord: the initial offspring of the governing figures from each planet would be swapped at the age of seven. Upon reaching the age of 16, these exchangees would be repatriated.

This agreement was almost nullified, pushing both planets to the brink of renewed conflict when Leed, the Rutanian prince, expressed a profound sense of belonging to Senali and a desire to remain there, which compelled his father, King Frane, to insist on his return. The Republic dispatched two Jedi, specifically Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, to evaluate the circumstances.

As the Yuuzhan Vong advanced through the galaxy, the Peace Brigade caused political fractures between Rutan and Senali. A few months following this, the Yuuzhan Vong perpetrated the complete annihilation of the Senali people.
