The Senate Bureau of Intelligence (SBI), also known as Senate Intelligence, functioned as the most substantial non-military intelligence agency within the Galactic Republic and played a role throughout the Clone Wars, providing services to the Galactic Senate. The Senate Intelligence Oversight Committee of the Senate held the power to authorize SBI's initiatives and projects through confidential briefings given by the head of the bureau, SBI Director Armand Isard, concerning the agency's undertakings. It is important to note that the SBI was a distinct organization, unrelated to Republic Intelligence which was part of the Grand Army of the Republic. Wullf Yularen was at one time a member of the Bureau.
