Senshu

Senshu was a guide for travelers, a male of the human species. He and Kamahachi aided Princess Misa and the Jedi Knight Tsubaki in their journey to a royal palace from which the princess had been exiled.

To circumvent checkpoints, they chose a perilous route, and the guides received more than 500 credits as payment for their services, which included traversing the dreaded Place of the Gods. It was within this region that Kamahachi disappeared. Tsubaki ultimately located him, and they both rejoined Misa and Senshu in a settlement nearby.

Senshu and Kamahachi were apprehended by palace guards and menaced by the Sith Lord Masago when Tsubaki and Misa tried to infiltrate the palace and depose Masago.

Behind the scenes

Senshu debuted in the Star Wars: Visions short film "Akakiri." Chō provided his voice in the Japanese version, while George Takei voiced him in English. The original Japanese version calls him センシュウ (Senshū). The English rendering of his name, however, has varied. He is referred to as Senshuu in the English subtitles, a promotional article on StarWars.com, and The Art of Star Wars: Visions, but the credits list him as Senshu.
