During Operation: Quick Strike, this facility was the location of a minor skirmish in space. Rebel Alliance starfighters attempted to disrupt the transfer of newly constructed TIE Avengers from the factory to the ISD Dauntless. The transfer was being performed by personnel with inadequate training.
The final disposition of the Sentinel installation remains unconfirmed. It is improbable that the factory sustained significant damage from the Rebel assault, given that it was not the primary objective. Nevertheless, even if the Rebels did not destroy it, it is doubtful that Sentinel endured past the attempted coup by Admiral Zaarin not long after this Rebel incursion, because Zaarin was initially very successful in eliminating all facilities that produced TIE Avengers.
