A person of female sex was the parent who gave birth to the Mirialan Servit. Several centuries prior to Servit's birth, one of her forebears belonged to a group known as the Republic Pathfinders. An EX droid utilized by that team for communication purposes was inherited through the person's family line, ultimately reaching Servit.
The mother of Servit appeared in "Galactic Tales: Inheritance," a short story belonging to the Galactic Tales collection. George Mann authored the story, which was released in the 211th issue of the Star Wars Insider periodical on June 7, 2022.
