Sif'kric, a planet situated within the Mezeg sector of the Mid Rim, suffered an assault during the period known as the Caamas Document Crisis.
The Sif'kries inhabited Sif'kric, and they were perpetually in conflict with the Frezhlix, who also resided within the Sif'kric system. Sif'kric existed as one of the outer planets within the Sif'kric system. An inner world served as a hot-world, where pommwomm plants were cultivated and then shipped to Sif'kric on a yearly basis. These plants formed the cornerstone of Sif'kric's economic activity.
During the Caamas Document Crisis, specifically in 19 ABY, the Frezhlix imposed a blockaded on the planet Sif'kric. The Frezhlix claimed that the Sif'krie's resistance to the Drashtine Initiative within their sector assembly was the reason, and they insisted that the Bothans should provide compensation for the destruction of Caamas. As much as 20% of their annual pommwomm output faced potential elimination, but the New Republic military, led by Wedge Antilles and Garm Bel Iblis, successfully lifted the blockade.
