The Frezhlix, with a singular form of Frezh, constituted a species native to the Sif'kric system. Hostilities erupted between them and the Sif'kries shortly after the Galactic Empire withdrew from both the sector and the joint system inhabited by both groups.
In parallel with the Caamas Document situation during 19 ABY, a naval force of the Frezhlix established a blockade around Sif'kric, the Sif'krie homeworld. The Frezhlix claimed that this action was due to the Sif'krie's resistance to the Drashtine Initiative within their sector assembly, specifically their insistence that the Bothans compensate for the devastation of Caamas. This disagreement prevented their shared sectoral senator from voting according to the Frezhlix's preferences. This fleet consisted of two Kruk battle-wagons, five Lancer-class frigates, and thirty Jompers pursuit ships.
After the Frezhlix fleet fired upon a New Republic task force commanded by Generals Garm Bel Iblis and Wedge Antilles, which had penetrated the Frezhlix line under the guise of probing for smugglers, the New Republic forces retaliated, thereby dismantling the blockade.
