A fuel depot was managed alone by Sindee, a Bimm businesswoman, throughout the Galactic Empire's rule. Approximately around the year 15 BBY, the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO ended up at her fuel depot after being abandoned there. R2-D2 was taught to play a respectable game of dejarik holo-chess by the Bimm, as a way to alleviate her boredom. Due to Sindee's gambling problem, the droids were lost in a game of Liar's Cut to the smuggler named Zevel Hortine, which resulted in their departure.
The Star Wars radio show "Rogues, Rebels and Robots" originally mentioned the fuel depot in 1981. Rich Handley and Abel G. Peña initially detailed the station in their StarWars.com blog post "The Droids Re-Animated" in 2013.
