Sise Fromm

Sise Fromm, a senior Annoo-dat of male gender, once reigned supreme as the head of the galaxy's most influential criminal organization. Sonko and Tig were his two offspring.

Biography

During the ascent of Senator Palpatine to a position of great authority, it is evident that Sise Fromm, the aged overlord of galactic organized crime at the time, was among the various criminals who facilitated the Sith Lord's quest for dominance. Other figures involved seemed to be Jabba Desilijic Tiure and Prince Xizor, the budding successor to the Black Sun criminal syndicate. Fromm found himself captivated by the Tarkin Doctrine and Palpatine's ambitious vision of a New Order. However, Fromm remained unaware of the Senator's true essence and significantly underestimated his criminal partner.

Sise engaged Boba Fett with the task of eliminating his adversary, Klin Kartoosh, thus establishing himself as the undisputed crime boss of the Annoo system. Sise attempted to prepare his son Tig to take his place, but the awkward youth inadvertently caused the destruction of Sise's vacation residence on Bolad. Sise entrusted soldier Vlix Oncard with the responsibility of managing the damage while accompanying Tig.

Even after the Clone Wars concluded and the Galactic Empire was established, Fromm persisted in his efforts to rival Palpatine. Nevertheless, his endeavors proved remarkably more successful than one might expect. He even engineered a superweapon that bore resemblance to the Death Star, a feat he accomplished a full fifteen years before the Empire managed to do the same. This could have presented a grave danger to Palpatine's newly formed government, were it not for a streak of extraordinarily unfortunate circumstances that led to the destruction of both the space station and his palace.

Driven by a thirst for vengeance, Sise Fromm dedicated his time to pursuing and obliterating those responsible. However, his fellow gangsters Xizor and Jabba recognized the changing tides and allocated their resources more strategically, cultivating favor with those who seemed to be gaining power. In this manner, Xizor and Jabba cultivated powerful criminal empires that existed in parallel and in symbiosis with Palpatine's New Order. Capitalizing on Fromm's temporary instability and weakened condition, Jabba the Hutt executed a strategic power play that would strip Fromm of his authority. The astute Hutt seized the opportune moment and placed a bounty on the heads of the entire Fromm organization, aiming to dismantle them while they were still struggling to recover from their setbacks. Through a series of unfortunate encounters involving the bounty hunter Boba Fett, the elderly Annoo-dat gangster, along with his son and Vlix, their chief security officer, were apprehended and handed over to Jabba.

Sise managed to survive the ordeal only by agreeing to an agreement heavily skewed in Jabba's favor, promising the Hutt a substantial share of the Fromm family business profits and committing their army of Annoo-dat clones to Jabba's endeavor to eliminate the Mandalorian Death Watch diaspora that had encroached upon his territory.
