During this event, New Republic starfighters launched an assault on the Yuuzhan Vong starship called the Crèche (Crèche). This attack compelled the Crèche to escape to the world of Fondor, an action that pushed the Yuuzhan Vong fleet into an earlier than planned attack on that location.
