A brief engagement took place on the Hydian Way in the year 28 ABY of the Yuuzhan Vong War. The Millennium Falcon, while traversing Yuuzhan Vong-controlled space on a diplomatic endeavor directed towards the Imperial Remnant, was pulled out of hyperspace due to a Yuuzhan Vong dovin basal. Captain Han Solo piloted his freighter, as his wife Leia Organa Solo and the Imperial commander Vana Dorja manned its quad laser cannons. Solo innovated a novel maneuver, exploiting the dovin basal's gravitic pull to propel his ship around it; this action was subsequently named the Solo Slingshot and was later employed by the New Republic in subsequent conflicts. The Falcon's complement eliminated the majority of the Yuuzhan Vong coralskippers positioned at the dovin basal. Ultimately, the enemy forces were defeated upon the arrival of New Republic E-wings alongside Chiss clawcraft.
