A conflict erupted on the world of Yungbrii (a planet) between the New Republic and the Spice Runners of Kijimi. Fleeing New Republic starships, a band of Spice Runners, which included the Klatooinian named Vigilch, found themselves trapped at the Trune family farm on Yungbrii. Using the farm's inhabitants as human shields, the Spice Runners managed to get away on a hijacked spacecraft. This shootout between the two factions led to casualties on both sides, and tragically resulted in the deaths of Sela Trune's family. To make their escape from the planet, the Spice Runners ended up stealing a ship.
