Frequently, the Drogheda Royal Guard utilized sky-sleds equipped with a small blaster cannon that was affixed to the front. Sky-sleds proved particularly useful for navigating the harsh and mountainous terrain of Drogheda; the Drogheda Citadel, which served as the hub of political authority, was perched on the summit of a steep cliff and could only be reached via sky-sled. In 4 ABY, a well-known popular revolutionary front initiated an attack on the Citadel using sky-sleds, which resulted in the toppling of the planet's monarchy and set the stage for the establishment of a democratic system of governance.
