Smoking Forest
The Smoking Forest existed on Mustafar, a planet characterized by lava and located in the Outer Rim. This region, known for its relative stability, derived its name from the rock formations resembling trees that emitted smoke.
Behind the scenes
Within the current Star Wars canon, the Smoking Forest was initially referenced in Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon, specifically in the seventeenth issue by De Agostini, which was released circa April 29, 2015. Previously, the forest was part of the Star Wars Legends timeline, featuring in the Trials of Obi-Wan expansion (2005) for Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game from Sony Online Entertainment (2003).[3]_
