Snow Fury! marked the fifth chapter of The Kingdom of Ice, appearing within the pages of Pizzazz 14 during November of 1978. The complete narrative was republished across the pond in the UK, specifically in issues Star Wars Weekly 57–60 of 1979.
While the Imperial commander who is posing as Odan flees, taking Princess Leia Organa as his captive, the authentic Colonel Odan, accompanied by C-3PO, R2-D2, and Fafnir, embark on a swift pursuit to liberate Luke Skywalker from the out-of-control War Sled.
The Rebels successfully get onto the War Sled; however, their Snow flyer sustains damage during the process, preventing them from re-establishing control over the vehicle. Fortunately, Odan leverages his intimate understanding of the War Sled to discover power skis, enabling the Rebels to evacuate the War Sled mere moments before its complete obliteration. Nevertheless, their difficulties persist as a severe snowstorm descends upon them.
