Solidarity (Venator-class)

The Solidarity was a Venator-class Star Destroyer utilized by the Galactic Republic during the era of the Clone Wars.

History

Serving as the flagship for Jedi Master Ezar Elasra, the Solidarity was under the command of Captain Ralen. During the Clone Wars, the Solidarity sustained damage in combat. While the ship underwent repairs, a team of Republic operatives arrived aboard a Theta-class T-2c shuttle. Elasra, tasked with reclaiming the planet Tirahnn from the Confederacy of Independent Systems, informed the agents of their upcoming mission to reactivate a planetary ion cannon. Subsequently, the agents, accompanied by clone troopers and clone commandos, departed the Solidarity aboard a LAAT/s to execute their assignment.

After the agents successfully activated the cannon, it commenced firing upon the Separatist fleet in orbit above Tirahnn. Immediately, Elasra brought the Solidarity, along with the rest of his battlegroup, out of hyperspace in proximity to the planet, initiating the Battle of Tirahnn. Approximately thirty minutes into the engagement, the Solidarity's crew contacted the agents via a secure channel, ordering them to relinquish direct control of the cannon to the Star Destroyer. Elasra then communicated with the agents through a hologram, instructing them to place homing beacons on designated CIS tanks. This allowed the Solidarity to target and neutralize the vehicles, mitigating the threat they posed to Republic ground forces. Additionally, Elasra dispatched a clone troopers squad to escort the captured Separatist commander Zolghast to the Solidarity.
