The Solo Project was an endeavor orchestrated by the Yuuzhan Vong, under the direction of Nom Anor, with the purpose of subduing Jacen Solo's spirit and persuading him to embrace the True Way. The Vong believed this would accelerate their takeover of the galaxy by paving the path for the 'peaceful' conversion of the remaining inhabitants. Nevertheless, with assistance from Vergere, Jacen not only prevented the project from succeeding, but also deceived his intended captors into thinking he had submitted. He then turned against them by establishing a connection with the World Brain of Yuuzhan'tar, exploiting this link to undermine the Vongforming of Coruscant.
