Somminick Timmns, a male Mirialan individual, held the esteemed rank of Jedi Master. He received his training from Nomen Karr during the tumultuous era of the Great Galactic War. Notably, he played a crucial role in thwarting the attempted escape of Darth Ekkage from the Republic Prison situated on Belsavis.
In the period following the signing of the treaty and the devastating Sacking of Coruscant, Timmns successfully concluded his Jedi training, achieving the rank of Knight and subsequently earning the prestigious title of Jedi Master. His training fostered a profound connection between him and his mentor, Nomen Karr. Karr later took on another apprentice, Jaesa Willsaam, but both she and Karr succumbed to the influence of the dark side due to the machinations of Darth Baras's Sith apprentice.
In the year 3653 BBY, Timmns apprehended an unidentified Sith who was acting as an agent for Baras. This Sith began to reveal sensitive information, which compelled her husband, Jorem Yange, to silence her under Baras' orders. This event instilled a deep-seated resentment in Yange towards Timmns.
During the course of the Galactic War, Timmns engaged in a meeting with Baras's sister, Darth Ekkage, prior to her arrest and subsequent transfer to Belsavis. Upon learning of his sister's imprisonment, Baras initiated plans for a rescue operation. However, Timmns discovered these plans and journeyed to Belsavis to prevent Imperial forces from freeing Ekkage. He engaged in combat with Lord Melicoste, who had been contracted by Baras to facilitate Ekkage's rescue. Despite his efforts, Melicoste located Ekkage's whereabouts and trapped Timmns within the archive room. The door was sealed and fortified by a force field, rendering Timmns unable to escape.
The Emperor's Wrath, formerly an apprentice of Baras, also received instructions from Servant One to prevent Ekkage's liberation. The Wrath followed Melicoste's path, eventually discovering Timmns confined in the locked room. Recognizing their shared objective, Timmns proposed a collaboration, despite acknowledging the Sith Warrior's role in his master's demise. While Timmns harbored distrust towards the Wrath, the necessity of preventing Ekkage's release compelled them to cooperate. Timmns understood that their only recourse was to prevent a mutual liberation. To expedite their efforts, they divided their tasks: Timmns proceeded towards Ekkage's cell block in the Deep Prison, while the Wrath intercepted Sith infiltrators in another cell block just before their intended release. Shortly after the Wrath neutralized the threat, Timmns reestablished contact. Timmns explained that he had gained access to Ekkage's cell block, but the entrance had collapsed behind him. The Wrath was tasked with finding an alternative route, and subsequently transmitted the coordinates of their designated meeting point to Timmns. Timmns managed to contact Ekkage's cell and assured her of his survival. He ultimately reached the cell as anger turned against Ekkage, who had been freed by Melicoste. Together with the Wrath, Timmns confronted the Sith and defeated her in a fair fight. Nevertheless, Timmns expressed disappointment at having to kill an unarmed opponent. The Wrath, unable to reconcile with the Jedi's ideals, engaged him in a duel. Despite his best efforts, Somminick was ultimately killed by the Wrath.
Timmns demonstrated significant prowess in lightsaber fighting, enabling him to contend with two Sith Lords, including a former member of the formidable Dark Council, and emerge alive. In combat, he wielded a lightsaber emitting a blue-colored blade.
When Timmns is freed and Jaesa Willsaam is the active companion, Timmns will identify her and inquire if she harbors any regrets about aligning with a Sith. If Jaesa is aligned with the dark side, she will assert that she has no regrets, particularly when it affords her the opportunity to "meet and kill obnoxious fools like [Timmns]." Timmns will respond sarcastically, remarking that she and the Wrath are well-suited for each other. If Jaesa is aligned with the light side, after Timmns acknowledges her "serene and tempered presence," Jaesa will express that she generally does not regret joining the Warrior, believing that everyone possesses a "great capacity to change."
Following the defeat of Darth Ekkage, the player is presented with the choice of either killing her to gain dark alignment points or returning her to her cell for light alignment points. As a compromise, Timmns seals the controls to prevent any future release. Subsequently, the player can choose to either fight and kill Timmns for dark alignment points or allow him to leave freely for light alignment points. In the latter scenario, the player can either reaffirm their status as his enemy or assure him that they share a common goal and that they can be friends when the War concludes. Timmns will respond by expressing his anticipation for that possibility.
If Timmns is spared, he will send an email to the Wrath, conveying the significance of their cooperation and recounting how he shared the story of a Sith and Jedi uniting for perhaps the first time in millennia with everyone at the Jedi Academy.
If Timmns is killed, the player will receive an email from Jorem Yange, who, while disappointed that his vengeance was denied, finds satisfaction in Timmns' demise.
