Melicoste, a Sith Lord of the male Human species, faithfully served Darth Baras as an agent during the Galactic War. This conflict saw the Galactic Republic clash against the re-emergent Sith Empire.
A Sith Lord, Human and male, Melicoste was affiliated with the Sith Empire. Around the year 3641 BBY, Darth Baras dispatched him to liberate his sister, Darth Ekkage, from the Belsavis prison controlled by the Galactic Republic. Melicoste assumed command of a Imperial commandos squad, headed by Lieutenant Kaid, and initiated the pursuit of Ekkage. Upon determining Ekkage's location, he deployed a force to release Ekkage's imprisoned Sith assassins; however, they were thwarted by the Emperor's Wrath. Simultaneously, Melicoste reached Cell Block 77-Z inside The Tomb, where Ekkage was confined. After freeing her, Ekkage, instead of being grateful, swiftly executed Melicoste due to his perceived failings.
