Imperial Commandos, alternatively referred to as Sith Commandos, comprised the military personnel of the re-established Sith Empire.
In the wake of the Great Galactic War, following the Sacking of Coruscant, a pair of Imperial commandos launched a surprise attack against Jedi Satele Shan aboard a transport vessel; however, they were ultimately killed. SP-99, a droid, interpreted their demise as a breach of the established peace agreement between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic.
These commandos, employed by Imperial Intelligence, underwent specialized training and participated in diverse missions aimed at weakening the Republic Strategic Information Service and eliminating key individuals. Cormun, Kalmic, and the Shadow Captain are examples of noteworthy Imperial Commandos. Their uniform consisted of robust armor, including a helmet distinct from that of a typical Imperial soldier. Predominantly, Imperial Commandos utilized light grey and white armor, while members of the Korriban regiment donned red armor.
