A type of explosive weapon utilized during the Galactic Civil War by both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic was the Sonic Imploder. This device employed sonic vibrations to impair enemy forces in the immediate area, causing short-term blindness and diminished strength. However, it could also prove deadly to targets very near to the explosion. Its design was notably similar to the C-25 fragmentation grenade.
