Sont Toipo was a vigilante leader, a male Aqualish, who was on the payroll of Drik Bandrik on Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
In the year 1 ABY, a slaver named Drik Bandrik, who grew displeased with Kitster Banai's consistent efforts to better the lives of enslaved people, set him up in the murder of Krin Vel, a moisture farmer. Sont Toipo was then given the responsibility of gathering an irate group of farmers to locate and execute Kitster. Luckily for Kitster, a spacer who was passing through Mos Espa offered his assistance, and agreed to track down Sont Toipo. Kitster believed the mob would consist of around six to eight local moisture farmers, but he requested that the spacer only kill Sont Toipo. Kitster hoped that the remaining members of the mob would scatter after Toipo's death.
The traveler consented, and successfully eliminated Toipo, while striving to spare the lives of the farmers. It was later revealed that Krin Vel was not actually murdered, but was instead compensated by Drik Bandrik to leave Mos Espa long enough for a lynch mob to be assembled.
Sont Toipo appeared as a Non-Player Character (NPC) within the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Players engaging in a sequence of quests for Kitster in Mos Espa were tasked with finding and killing Sont Toipo outside the city.
