Operations Group Five, also known as Special Operations Group Five, was one of the five Special Operations Groups dispatched by the reconstituted Sith Empire to infiltrate the Belsavis prison amidst the Galactic War. Their mission was to find and liberate the Dread Masters. The Sith Lord Medechas commanded Group Five, which stayed at the Empire's original landing zone while the other groups proceeded further into the Belsavis prison. Medechas' troops created the Imperial Lodgement to serve as a central hub and engaged in combat with the Galactic Republic security forces, who were under the command of Marshal Ellis Ruger.
