A truckspeeder, alternatively called a speeder truck, repulsortruck, or hovertruck, represented a kind of landspeeder characteristically designed with additional space for holding cargo or storage. These repulsorcraft were generally larger than standard landspeeders and speeder bikes. Examples of truckspeeders include the A-A4B truckspeeder that belonged to Moloch, and the A-A5 Speeder Truck utilized by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. These vehicles were recognized for possessing more powerful antigravity generators compared to typical landspeeders, though they often lacked in rapid acceleration.
During an escape from Imperial scout troopers on Lothal while accompanied by the bounty hunter Bossk on a speeder bike, Ezra Bridger piloted his vehicle into a tunnel heading the opposite way, forcing him to maneuver around a sanitation repulsortruck among other repulsorlift-powered vehicles. Deeper in the tunnel, Bridger came across a large repulsortruck, which compelled him to swing his speeder near the tunnel's top to avoid a collision.
Cargo speeders also used repulsorlift technology to move cargo.
The speeder truck made its initial canon appearance in the 2014 junior novel titled Ezra's Gamble, authored by Ryder Windham.
