Moloch

As a male Grindalid existing in the galaxy throughout the Imperial Era, Moloch operated as an enforcer. Functioning as a member of the Corellia-situated White Worms syndicate, his duties ensured that none of Lady Proxima's scrumrats acted in opposition to the Grindalid leader.

Biography

Moloch's presence within the White Worms' den was noted when Han Solo was presented to Lady Proxima following a failed endeavor. Proxima, incensed by Han's shortcomings, instructed Rebolt to strike Han with a staff. Reacting to this, Han seized the staff from Rebolt, declaring his intention to retaliate. At this moment, Moloch brandished a blaster, aiming it at Han. Qi'ra, fearing for Han's safety, intervened, imploring Moloch not to fire. Han then seized a rock and shattered a window, exploiting the Grindalid vulnerability to sunlight. This resulted in Proxima suffering burns and retreating into the water. Subsequently, Han, accompanied by Qi'ra, forced his way through the scrumrats and fled outside the den. Moloch, swiftly donning protective armor to shield himself from the light, commenced pursuit of Han and Qi'ra. As Han and Qi'ra made their escape in a landspeeder, Moloch discharged his weapon at them, but failed to hit either them or the vehicle.

Moloch gives chase.

Moloch, accompanied by Rebolt, Syke, and a pack of Corellian hounds, utilized his A-A4B landspeeder to pursue the White Worm defectors. Quickly gaining ground on Qi'ra and Han in his speeder, Moloch initiated contact, ramming their vehicle with his considerably larger one. Moloch continued his pursuit of the deserters through the thoroughfares of Coronet City. Eventually, Han directed the chase into an industrial manufacturing facility. Han then maneuvered his speeder at an angle, attempting to navigate through a narrow opening to evade Moloch. Han's speeder became lodged at the end of the crevice, compelling him and Qi'ra to proceed on foot. Moloch's speeder, being too large to follow, forced him and his companions to pursue the deserters on foot, mirroring Han and Qi'ra's situation.

Moloch tracked Han and Qi'ra to the Coronet Spaceport, but his advance was briefly impeded by a stormtrooper. Moloch informed the stormtrooper about the fleeing individuals, prompting the stormtroopers to join the search for Han and Qi'ra. Han and Qi'ra successfully reached the gate to depart Corellia, but as they were exiting, one of Moloch's henchmen apprehended Qi'ra and brought her to Moloch. Subsequently, the gate closed, preventing Han from being captured, thus enabling him to escape Corellia and abandon them.
