The ST2 concussion missile tube, a type of concussion missile launcher, was engineered by Arakyd Industries. The YT-1300f light freighter Millennium Falcon, which had been specially modified, was equipped with two of these tubes. Han Solo altered them to accommodate up to four missiles from different producers, such as Arakyd and Dymek.
Each tube for missiles had a magazine able to hold a maximum of four missiles. The standard missile was the Arakyd ST2 concussion missiles, each exceeding a meter in length and possessing the destructive capability of a standard proton torpedo. While simpler to service compared to proton torpedo launchers, concussion missile systems were costly, with each missile priced at around 750 credits.
During the Battle of Endor, Lando Calrissian flew the Falcon into the reactor of the second Death Star, where he utilized the Arakyd ST2 concussion missile launchers. He launched two ST2 concussion missiles, which were instrumental in the destruction of the Imperial battle station.
