Wanted poster for the Marauder of Endor
In some legal systems, star swapping was considered a criminal activity, specifically when it involved stellar objects. The "Marauder of Endor", a male Sanyassan, was known to have accumulated at least 79 convictions and charges for a wide array of both serious and minor offenses. Notably, seven of these charges were for the illegal act of star swapping.
The wanted poster mentioning star swapping was a single-page document. It featured the Marauder of Endor and was penned by Bob Carrau for the 1993 publication Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas. This book, authored by Carrau, combines creature designs and photographs from various projects by George Lucas, the mind behind Star Wars. Leland Chee, an employee of Lucasfilm who curates the Holocron continuity database, has stated that the information within the book is considered non-canonical.
