Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, a fireworks spectacle with a Star Wars theme, was a regular feature at the Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. This show incorporated fireworks, pyrotechnics, unique visual effects, music taken directly from the films, and projected video onto the park's buildings. The presentation culminated in a "tower of fire" along with beams of light, which together formed a lightsaber effect in the night sky.
On June 17, 2016, the show premiered, taking the place of Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular. The previous show had been presented in different forms and at specific events within the park beginning in 2010. It then had a consistent run between December 18, 2015, and June of 2016. On December 16, 2017, a revised version of the show, incorporating elements from Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, was introduced. Later, on January 1, 2020, the show was updated to include aspects of Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.
The show's final performance was prior to the closure of Walt Disney World on March 12, 2020, which occurred because of the COVID-19 pandemic. When the resort reopened later in the year, the fireworks show was not brought back. In July of 2022, the show's information page was ultimately removed from the resort's official website.
