Symphony in the Stars

Symphony in the Stars, which was later retitled Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular, was a fireworks show with a Star Wars theme. It was presented at various times within the Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.

History

Symphony in the Stars initially premiered as a component of the Last Tour to Endor event, which took place on August 18, 2010. This involved Star Wars characters presenting a grand fireworks display synchronized with John Williams' original music, as well as incorporating voices and sound effects extracted from the Star Wars saga. Subsequent iterations of the show were featured during other Star Wars-themed events at the park, such as the Star Wars Weekends events in 2014 and 2015. A regular showing then commenced at the park from December 18, 2015, running until June, 2016 under its new designation, Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular. This updated version incorporated aspects from Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.

This production was succeeded by a new fireworks show, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, which began its run at Disney's Hollywood Studios on June 17, 2016.
