Star Wars: Queen's Series


Star Wars: Queen's Series is a young-adult canon series penned by E. K. Johnston, with the narrative spotlight firmly on the character of Padmé Amidala.

The initial novel, Queen's Shadow, made its debut on March 5th of 2019. Its story revolves around Padmé Amidala in the six years leading up to the events of Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, illustrating her transition into her new position as senator. The prequel, Queen's Peril, was released on June 2nd in 2020 and showcases Amidala during her early tenure as the queen of Naboo and the events of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. The trilogy's concluding book, Queen's Hope, was launched on April 5th of 2022 and is set between Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. It depicts Amidala during the initial stages of the Clone Wars and her marriage to Anakin Skywalker.
