Publisher's summary

Deena Shan, having been involved in a string of near-catastrophic assignments, is on the verge of quitting, desiring to return home and leave the Rebellion's fate to more capable individuals. However, an unsuccessful hyperspace jump unexpectedly places Deena, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Tungo Li in orbit around Bannistar Station, an Imperial refueling depot. Realizing that escape is impossible and detection is only a matter of time, they spearhead a desperate mission to confront insurmountable challenges and obliterate Bannistar Station. Despite casualties and captures, the ultimate outcome of the mission rests on Deena's shoulders.
