Vow of Justice
Vow of Justice served as a supplementary tale, found in the concluding pages of the final three installments of the Prelude to Rebellion story arc.
Plot summary
Not long after his return to Cerea as a newly appointed Jedi Knight, Ki-Adi-Mundi reflects on his selection for Jedi instruction and the marauders, commanded by Bin-Garda-Zon, who brought fear to his community. He journeys back to the raider encampment to face Bin-Garda-Zon and administer justice, only to discover him overthrown and held as a slave. He then confronts Khana, the new female leader of the raiders. Ki, his attention diverted by the sight of the weakened and dethroned former leader, suffers a defeat. Following his capture and imprisonment, Ki is visited and assaulted by Bin-Garda-Zon within his cell. A fight breaks out, and Ki ignites his lightsaber, revealing his Jedi identity. Ki then persuades the raiders to scatter and departs without seeking retribution.
