Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Complete Season One, released by Warner Home Video on November 3, 2009, is available as either a Blu-ray set with three discs or a DVD set with four discs. This collection contains the first season (from 2008–2009) of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television program.
This collection features:
- All 22 episodes that make up the inaugural season;
- Seven episodes presented in Director's Cut form: "Rising Malevolence," "Shadow of Malevolence," "Lair of Grievous," "Rookies," "Storm Over Ryloth," "Innocents of Ryloth," and "Liberty on Ryloth";
- 22 short documentaries, one for each episode, featuring interviews with the director and the production team;
- A 68-page production journal, exclusive to this set, filled with original sketches and notes from the artists;
- The "Jedi Temple Archives," a special feature that is only available on the Blu-ray edition.
The DVD version has some hidden secrets, also known as easter eggs:
- Disc One – A preview for The Clone Wars: Season Two;
- Disc Two – A trailer for the video game Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes;
- Disc Three – A behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the show, including animation, models, and sketches;
- Disc Four – A promotional video for StarWars.com, the Star Wars Shop, and the Star Wars: Blogs.
