Star Wars: The Corellian Trilogy is a set of three novels authored by Roger MacBride Allen: Ambush at Corellia, Assault at Selonia, and Showdown at Centerpoint. Bantam Spectra published each of the three books in 1995. The setting of the novels is 18 ABY, and they relate the Solo family's trip to Corellia.
Following the publication of Showdown at Centerpoint, the complete Corellian Trilogy was compiled into a single book, an omnibus, by the Science Fiction Book Club. Random House Audio digitally released abridged audiobook versions on February 20, 2007, and Del Rey made the novels available as ebooks on June 28, 2011.
Leia Organa Solo was very aware of the galaxy's many dangers and tried hard to ensure her children experienced a somewhat normal family life. As the New Republic's Chief of State, she needed to go to the trade conference on Corellia to help revitalize the struggling star system's economy. Since Corellia was Han's home planet, Leia thought it would be a good idea to combine the official mission with a family holiday. The Solos planned to travel ahead in the Millennium Falcon, avoiding the official delegation. The idea was no attention, no problems...
However, Han and Chewie discovered an old Imperial assassin droid lurking around their ship. Also, several New Republic Intelligence agents had recently vanished within the Corellian system. And, to top it off, as soon as the Falcon arrived, someone gave the Chief of State and her family a rather explosive welcome—complete with turbo-laser cannon.
