Star Wars Kids 1, the inaugural edition of the Star Wars Kids periodical, saw its release in November/December of 1998. The Fan Club, Inc. served as the publisher. Within its pages, readers could find the initial two installments of the comic narrative X-Wing Marks the Spot, penned by Mike W. Barr. This story originally appeared in the Star Wars Kids magazine series from Scholastic's.
