Star Wars Kids number 12 represents the twelfth edition of the Star Wars Kids periodical. It was brought to readers by Scholastic and served as a supplementary item for both the Star Wars: Episode I Adventures series of books for young readers and the roleplaying game. This particular issue, designated as number 12, became available in August of 2000.
