Star Wars Missions 4: Destroy the Liquidator, released by Scholastic in December of 1997, represents the fourth installment in the Star Wars Missions series designed for young readers, functioning also as a roleplaying game.
The Rebel base located on Yavin Four is under imminent threat from the Imperial Star Destroyer known as the Liquidator, which is rapidly approaching. This vessel plays a key role in the Empire's scheme to seize control of hyperspace, with the ultimate goal of crushing the Rebellion. To thwart the Empire's nefarious plans, the Rebels are tasked with locating the Imperial forces discreetly, avoiding detection. Your objective is to neutralize the Liquidator…and successfully evacuate Yavin Four alive!

The Liquidator makes its way into the Yavin system and initiates a search of the potentially habitable moons, beginning its survey with Yavin 8. Simultaneously, the Millennium Falcon arrives in the vicinity and prepares to eliminate an Imperial probe dispatched to Yavin 4. Successfully accomplishing this, Captain Han Solo then transmits a fabricated message to the Liquidator, falsely reporting that Yavin 4 is clear of any threats.
Concurrently, Captain Skeezer manages to break free from his confinement within the Massassi temple and commandeers his Carrack Cruiser. As he departs, he opens fire upon the Millennium Falcon, compelling it to make an emergency landing. The Rebels come to the understanding that they must intercept Skeezer before he can make contact with the Liquidator.
Accompanied by Q-7N, a Rebel embarks on a pursuit of Skeezer utilizing a T-65 X-wing starfighter. Skeezer is then compelled to land on Yavin 8, where he attempts to establish contact with the recently stationed Imperial garrison. However, the Rebel manages to obliterate the garrison, only to be captured by the Liquidator. Aboard the Imperial Star Destroyer, the Rebel, aided by Sevenen, manages to escape and proceeds to destroy the vessel. Skeezer perishes during this event, while Termo and Tix successfully escape. The Rebel then makes their way back to Yavin 4, where they celebrate their victory.
