Starport visa

Iziz starport visa A starport visa represented a specific form of authorization, permitting a traveler's entry to, or departure from, a starport located on a particular world. These visas came in two forms: a generally accessible "open" type, and a "personalized" type restricted for use by a designated individual only. The suspension of starport visa issuance by government personnel during the Onderon Civil War dramatically increased their value. The Jedi Exile, journeying to Onderon alongside Mandalore with the purpose of finding Jedi Master Kavar, received a personalized visa upon her arrival at the Iziz starport. While she was in Iziz, the Exile was approached by numerous individuals, each urgently seeking a starport visa, and each presented seemingly legitimate reasons for needing to leave the planet.

The Exile acquired two additional starport visas while on Iziz: one of the open variety and one personalized. Within the Iziz Cantina, a Twi'lek slicer named Kiph possessed the skill to convert a personalized visa into an open one; the Exile utilized Kiph's services to modify the personalized visa she had. Following this, she distributed the two visas to individuals based on her own judgment.

Behind the scenes

Within the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, the player has the option of giving the visas to one of five characters: Gormo, a stranded freighter captain; Xaart, a Republic intelligence operative; Sakarie, an Exchange member; Tolas, a profit-driven merchant; and Terlyn, a mother with two children in dire straits. Depending on the player's selections, they will either gain light side or dark side points, and there is also the possibility of improving relationships with various companions.
