Stasis block 44, a stasis prison vault, existed within the Cells of the Lords of the Infinite. This vault was situated in the Tomb, an age-old prison found on the planet Belsavis. When the invasion of Belsavis occurred, Lord Andreaus Thos commanded a segment of Special Operations Group One to reach the stasis block. His objective was to liberate the Sith prisoners confined within. However, Republic troops, collaborating with the privateer Zale Barrows, launched an ambush against Thos's unit, almost completely destroying them. The arrival of a bounty hunter who was pursuing Barrows at just the right moment shifted the advantage away from the Republic forces.
In Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game, stasis block 44 is featured as a class-specific phase on Belsavis. It serves as the location for the Bounty Hunter mission titled "A Thousand Pardons."
