An Ewok called Stemzee, identifiable by their tan fur marked with grey stripes and brown eyes, was a resident of Bright Tree Village situated on Endor's moon. Stemzee took part in the Battle of Endor, operating a catapult alongside another Ewok named Chubbray. This Ewok warrior was recognized by their blue hood and the spear they carried.
The character of Stemzee was featured in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, specifically in sequences filmed by the second unit of the production team around Crescent City, California. A publicity photo, showing this Ewok holding a film slate, was taken by a member of the crew during filming. Despite initial speculation by Lucasfilm's Leland Chee that the Ewok in the photo was Nho'Apakk, it has been confirmed to be Stemzee.
The name Stemzee was initially revealed through their inclusion in a Hasbro action figure set, and this identification was later validated by an article published on StarWars.com.
