Stonk

Stonk was an Ithorian Senator of the male persuasion, who held a position in the Galactic Senate of the Galactic Republic throughout the Clone Wars conflict.

Biography

During the Clone Wars era, Stonk, an Ithorian of the male sex, functioned as a senator representing his people in the Galactic Senate of the Galactic Republic. On one occasion during the conflict, Senator Stonk was present within the Galactic Senate Chamber when the bombing of Coruscant's central power distribution grid occurred.

At a later point in the war, Senator Stonk reversed his previous support for the proposal put forth by Naboo Senator Padmé Amidala that aimed to halt the creation of more clone troopers for the Grand Army of the Republic. This change of heart was driven by his worries about the view of the public. He expressed deep regret and personally reached out to Amidala to explain the motives behind his decision. Despite understanding Stonk's rationale, Amidala felt let down and discussed Stonk's change of position with her fellow senators.

Behind the scenes

The character of Stonk was initially seen in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode titled "Senate Murders," which was part of the second season.
