The stun net, which is also referred to as an electro-net or energy net, was a type of electrified mesh commonly used by the Trandoshans to capture living creatures. These nets were occasionally deployed from electrified net guns, which discharged five yellow energy projectiles that created the net's webbing, expanding as it moved towards its target. Upon impacting its target, the electro-net would entangle the victim and administer an electric shock, causing them to lose consciousness before the net dissolved. They also possessed the ability to incapacitate droids.
During the Clone Wars, the Trandoshan Lo-Taren employed a stun net to capture the Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano while on the planet of Felucia. Later, in the Imperial Era, the bounty hunter Zuckuss also made use of a stun net.
