Overseer droids, which are also referred to as supervisor droids, represented a type of droid of the class three variety that were created for the purpose of supervising collections of droids. The EV-series supervisor droid stands as a model of supervisor droid that was produced by MerenData. Doctor Gubacher, along with his team, engineered overseer droids with enhanced capabilities in order to oversee the workforce that contributed to the construction of the Death Star.
