"Survivors," a comic story, was initially featured in Star Wars Tales 13. Later, it was included in both Star Wars Tales Volume 4 and Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: Rise of the Sith Vol. 1.
In a galaxy far, far away, a man believed he had successfully committed murder, and not just a single instance of it.
Two guards, stationed at a temple, are diligently observing their surroundings, vigilant for any potential intruders. They notice a Human emerging from the dense jungle, making their way toward the slender bridge that provides access to the temple. Assuming the individual is a bounty hunter, they decide to monitor the person's progress as they advance toward the temple structure.
As the man cautiously traverses the narrow bridge, the guards reflect on Uda-Khalid's reputation for eliminating all witnesses and survivors. The notion that a bounty hunter would dare approach his temple seems highly improbable. Suddenly, Walk worms erupt from the bridge's sides, attempting to ensnare the bounty hunter. Reacting swiftly, the bounty hunter breaks into a sprint and leaps high into the air, evading the worms' grasp. Subsequently, the bounty hunter throws their hat, causing the section of the bridge infested with the worms to collapse.
The guards now believe that this bounty hunter must be very expensive. They then turn around, only to find that the bounty hunter has vanished. It then dawns on them that the bounty hunter is positioned behind them, prompting them to draw their firearms. However, the bounty hunter simply raises a hand, causing the guards to resume their surveillance of the temple's exterior. The bounty hunter then proceeds inside.
Inside, Uda-Khalid offers to double the bounty hunter's payment. The bounty hunter responds that their payment is the story of Khalid's deeds. Khalid denies the accusations, asserting that there were no survivors or witnesses. As he speaks, spectral figures materialize behind the bounty hunter, who then asks, "None?"

He declares to Khalid that "no one evades justice for murder," identifying himself as "Mace Windu, Jedi Knight." Khalid retorts, "It has been a considerable time since I last vanquished a Jedi," and activates an energy weapon. He launches an attack on Mace, who skillfully deflects the blows before impaling him in the chest.
Mace reveals that Khalid's claim was false, as he has never killed a Jedi, or Mace would have sensed it. He adds that Khalid's victims were mistaken about his nature. "It was a small target, but you did have a heart after all."
Khalid then collapses, lifeless, onto the floor.
