Star Wars Tales number 13 represents the thirteenth installment within the Star Wars Tales comic book anthology. Dark Horse Comics released it to the public on September 25, 2002.
This issue highlights the formidable MACE WINDU, recognized for his bald head, villainous nature, and distinctive purple lightsaber! Don't miss this amazing dedication to the most hardcore member to ever sit on the Jedi Council, and have his midi-chlorians assessed! Inside you'll find "The Secret of Tet-Ami" crafted by Fabian Nicieza and Timothy II, "Children of the Force" by Jason Hall and Lucas Marangon, "The Sith in Shadow" by Bob Harris and Jerome Opena, and a whole lot MORE! The cover art is provided by Tim Bradstreet!
Dave Land, the editor for Star Wars Tales, introduces the current issue, centering on Mace Windu. He refers to Windu as "the most powerful Jedi ever," a statement immediately challenged by Yoda. Land retorts by calling Yoda a mere puppet, only to realize Yoda has transformed into a digital entity. To demonstrate his power, Yoda proceeds to negatively impact Land's credit score via the internet.
