Suthers, a Galactic Empire pilot, met his death while serving. After this pilot perished, his facial hologram was included in a collection of fallen pilots. This gallery was showcased within the Zero Angle, which is a cantina located at the Imperial Flight Base situated in the Bright Jewel Oversector on the moon of Axxila III. Not long after the Battle of Yavin, Tana Chellaine, an Imperial Army pilot assigned to Nashtah Squadron, spotted Suthers's face on the wall, alongside the face of Plix, who was also a pilot who had died.
The initial reference to Suthers appeared in the short story "Last Call at the Zero Angle," authored by Jason Fry. This story was featured in Star Wars Insider 156 and released in 2015.
