Swanny Mull, a musician of the Mawan species, established the musical group Swanny and the Rooters. This occurred not long after the famous Battle of Naboo. He often played music with his band at Decca, the central base of operations for the Hutt.
Before the onset of the Clone Wars, Mull's occupation involved working as a "water rat". This entailed programming wastewater systems within the city of Naatan, located on his native planet, Mawan.
During 25 BBY, Swanny, along with his companion Rorq who worked in the tunnels, aided Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in gaining access to Decca's fortress. As compensation, the two Jedi agreed to perform with his band during one of Decca's festive "revels," a customary celebration after any victory over Striker. However, Swanny almost met his demise when Striker's forces launched an assault on Decca's complex.
His deep understanding of Mawan's subterranean water networks, stemming from his work in municipal programming, enabled him to play a crucial role in re-establishing a stable central government on the planet.
Swanny Mull was characterized as a short, strongly built individual, possessing a light-complexioned face that retained a youthful appearance. His lengthy, snow-white hair was held in place using metal fasteners.
