Decca Besadii Diori

title: Decca Besadii Diori

Decca Besadii Diori, also known as Decca the Hutt, was the offspring of Gardulla Besadii the Elder and sibling to Gardulla Besadii the Younger.

Biography

Following the presumed demise of her mother in 32 BBY, Decca became the inheritor of Gardulla's considerable wealth. Decca then established a squadron comprising pirates, mercenaries, bounty hunters, and various ruffians. For a period, Decca's central hub of activity was situated on C-Foroon, in proximity to Tatooine, until circumstances forced her departure. Subsequently, she relocated her thugs, henchmen, and close associates, alongside her operations, primarily centered around the spice trade, to the planet of Mawan.

In the time leading up to 25 BBY, a civil conflict erupted on Mawan. Decca saw this as an opportunity to seize control of Mawan for the Hutts. However, two rival factions, one under the leadership of Feeana Tala and the other commanded by Striker, were already engaged in a fierce struggle for the planet's crucial food and water resources. Decca harbored a personal vendetta against Striker, who had targeted her organization upon her initial arrival, successfully capturing the capital city's power infrastructure and a substantial weapons stockpile. Meanwhile, Decca managed to maintain control over Naatan's primary tunnel networks and transport systems. Striker, undeterred, persisted in his attacks, aiming to deprive Decca of fuel resources, which further intensified her ire. The Jedi, guided by Master Yaddle, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker, intervened, disrupting the ongoing civil war.

The situation deteriorated further with the arrival of the Jedi. Decca was celebrating a triumph over Striker's faction at one of her lavish gatherings when Obi-Wan, Anakin, and two of Tala's allies, Swanny Mull and Rorq, secretly entered the Hutt's fortress. Amidst the lively party atmosphere, following a performance by Swanny and the Rooters and a speech delivered by Decca, Striker's forces launched a surprise assault on the Hutt compound, targeting her organization.

Shortly thereafter, Decca forged an alliance with Striker, widely regarded as the most formidable and dangerous of all the crimelords, with the aim of stopping the Jedi. While Decca diverted the attention of Obi-Wan and Anakin, Striker, also known as Granta Omega, assassinated Master Yaddle and successfully fled the planet.
