Tanido was a lieutenant of the male Human species. He fought for the re-emergent Sith Empire during the times known as the Cold War and the Galactic War.
Tanido, previously a part of Pierce's black ops team, found himself stationed on Hoth around 3640 BBY. At that time, Lieutenant Pierce summoned him to reunite with their former squad. This reunion was prompted by a significant event: General Arkos Rakton had given Pierce permission to target the Bastion, the Republic's most fortified military installation located on Corellia. Pierce believed that only his seasoned team possessed the necessary skills for this undertaking. Tanido responded to Pierce's summons with enthusiasm, even having readied a specialized weapon specifically for this type of mission. Once the team was complete, Rakton relieved them of all other duties, focusing their efforts solely on the Bastion. During the attack, Tanido's weapon temporarily failed, but he successfully restored its power just as the fortress gates were breached. Pierce's team neutralized the security forces, eliminated the Bastion's commander, and successfully captured the base for the Empire.
