Taquito was a pilot of the Rodian species. He existed in the final years of the Galactic Republic, residing on Iego, a planet situated in the Outer Rim. During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems seized control of Iego. As they departed, the Separatists established a laser grid system above Iego, designed to obliterate any ships trying to escape. Taquito was among the group of fifty pilots who attempted to penetrate this grid; however, his ship was annihilated, which caused his death.
